Connor shrugged. "People don't kno m-me..there's things that a-are different..and I-I'd like you to know the truth." He cleared his throat, glancing at the log. "N-not today though," He rasped. "I don't got the h-heart today..." He bit his lip, the. Forced a smile her way. "I-it was nice talking to y-y-you, hanging out today.." It really was. Finally somebody he didn't actually have to explain to.

I nod slightly. I was slightly curious about what the truth was, but I didn't want to guilt him into telling me or anything. I was glad that he trusted me enough to tell me, just as i had trusted him enough to tell my story. "Its fine, whenever you're ready." I reply, smiling at Connor reassuringly. I run a hand through my dying purple hair, which has made darker by the water. "You too, and thanks for listening." I reply, smiling at him. I wanted to hug him again, though I knew I probably shouldn't. I look over to where Att, Riddle, and Gene were, all laid out on their towels and having a good time. But, my day had probably gone better than their's had. I had made a new friend, someone who could know where I was coming from, and someone who wouldn't talk about me behind my back.

Connor smiled. "One thing I-I'm good for," He murmured. "'Long a-as I'm not drunk..I might cr-ry with you then." A playful smirk before he followed her gaze towards Attyston. He was worried the male might notice a pattern with, well, bruises. First the rib, now the jaw. If Att had even noticed at least. He'd been quick to leave. Connor still felt bad. "I-I promised my dad I'd be h-home like, twenty minutes ago.." He mumbled, sighing. Not that he wanted to, but he kept the fear at bay. "Guess I sh-should get around to that at some p-point."

"I'm sure you're good for more than that." I reply, rolling my blue eyes slightly. He was a good friend, or at least from what I could tell. I chuckle softly as Connor goes on that it was a good thing that we wasn't drunk, or else he'd be crying with me. Yeah, what a fucking sob story. It was certainly nothing compared to what he obviously endured everyday. A frown crosses my face as he goes on to say that he should have been home about twenty minutes ago. "You can go, I'll be fine." I say, smiling at him comfortingly. The whole Att situation was apparently still troubling him. "And, trust me, Att will understand once I tell him. He's just alot more soft hearted than he likes anyone to know.. so don't tell him I just said that." I continue, looking across the beach to where he was sitting with Riddle and Gene.

Connor only grinned and nodded. "Alright." He got to his feet, clearing his hroat and stretching with a yawn, wandered to the log and brushed a hand over the name thoughtfully before smiling back at Londyn. "I-I'll see you at lunch," He huffed, waving goodbye and heading dwn the beach, to say bye to Attyston on his way out, giving him a hug no matter his thoughts on the matter and explaining that he had to head home. Only once out of sight did he allow the panic to surface as he walked, dreadig walkig in that frnt door.
