A soft smile crosses my face as she leans forward to press her lips to my cheek. I blush as she replies that she loved me too, though I knew it already. "Don't cry." I breathe, reaching over to wipe the tears from her face. "We should go in." I say, bringing Christa's hand up to my lips before letting it go and opening my door, waiting for her to come around. I wrap my arm around her waist, starting towards the stairs. I really did hate all the stairs, though the lower apartments were move expensive and the money from gigs and the occasional odd job wouldn't allow it to be possible. Eventually we reach the top and I stick the key in the lock, swinging the door open and I turn on the light.

I smile as Gene wipes the tears from my face and laughing lightly. After he kisses my hand, I take a moment to calm down before opening my door and walk beside him. His arm around my waist seems to calm me down and I lean against him slightly. I come face to face with my enemy and I sigh as we begin up the stairs. When we reach the top and I follow him in, smiling at the place I actually began calling home. I spent more time here than I did at my own house. I look at Gene and smile, "You know, I've really been considering sneaking in here and living with you," I say, sticking out my tongue after a giggle.

I shut the door behind us and chuckle at her words, pushing my orange hair from my face. "You should. Then we can have wild sex whenever we want.. but, mainly, you get to cook for me and I can be a lazy ass." I reply, sticking out my tongue at Christa as I wander into the kitchen. I pull out a water bottle for her and a beer for myself, walking back out and into the living room to hand her the water, sitting down on the couch. I crack open my can and take a sip before leaning forward to set it on the coffee table before unlacing my boots.

I smile as he agrees to it and shrug. "It would be easier on you, too. I could help you with the rent and everything," I say, shrugging my shoulders and hoping I could find some way to get him to actually agree to me moving in. From what I knew, we were just joking. "You know, if you're actually serious about it, I will move in with you," I say taking the water and taking a sip after opening it. I plopped down beside him on the couch and smiled, leaning over to kiss his cheek. To me, living with him would give us both a benefit once we had the baby and before. It was a good idea to me.

I nod as she goes on, apparently trying to convince me of letting her move in. "I told you you should." I reply, grinning as Christa sat down beside me and lened over to kiss my cheek. "You really should though, then we can be together and not have to waste gas." I add, turning around to sit sideways. I dangle my legs over the arm of the couch and lay my head in her lap, smiling up at her sheekily. "Damn. Now I can't drink my beer." I mumble, seeing the flaw in my plan. I sigh and bring my light brown eyes up to Christa's face, roving over her features. I mentally wonder what our child would look like. I hoped that it would have her personality- I tended to be a bit bland in public.

I smile as he tells me we should and think about how often we hang out. Seemed we tried to meet up almost every day and that was a lot of gas that wouldn't be needed if we just lived together. "Then I'm moving in once I pay my rent for this month and the moving fee," I say, nodding. Together that would be about two hundred dollars and I could afford that plus gas to get all my stuff here though I didn't have much. I smile and hold Gene's hand once he lays his head in my lap. I smile and reach for the remote, looking at the TV and hoping to find something entertaining. "We'll be sharing a bed, y'know. I mean, not like we have anything to hide from each other," I say, smiling down at him before looking up and flipping through channels.

"Good. When should I expect girl things to be in my apartment?" I ask playfully, sticking my tongue out at her. It'd be nice to have Christa around all the time, and I didn't really worry about us starting to be sick of each other- we tended to get along well and not argue much. I grin broadly up at her as she goes on about how we'd be sharing a bed and wink at her teasingly. "Nope." I agree, nodding slightly before turning to look at the TV as Christa flipped through channels. I sit up and reach for my beer, taking a long sip of it before setting it back down and laying back on her lap again.

I smile and laugh lightly before shrugging. "A few days; my landlord is insane so mentioning I'm leaving will be hard on her," I say, shrugging my shoulders. I turn so that my legs are behind Gene but still give him my lap before stopping some paranormal channel. I smile as he sits up and pass him the remote in case he wanted to change the channel. I look at the clock and sigh, "I might have to leave soon." To move out, I had to fill out paperwork and pay for everything. Then I'd also have to pack and it wouldn't take long but I still had to get everything. "You can come to my place if you want. Help me pack," I say, sticking out my tongue.

I nod as she goes on about how it'd be hard on her landlord and chuckle softly, reaching up to poke her cheek playfully. I watch as she leaves the channel on something about haunted places. I take the remote and lean forward to set it on the table before returning to my spot. "No!" I protest, turning to wrap my arms around Christa's waist. "Neither." I mumble, sticking out my lower lip in a pout. I sit up and swing my legs over the side of the couch to stand, stretching as I did so. "But you're driving, I've had alcohol." I add, grabbing my beer and holding out my keys to her.

I smile and look at him as he puts the remote on the table and lean back slightly. I look down as he wraps his arms around my waist and roll my eyes, looking back to the TV. "Okay," I agree before grabbing the keys and standing, stretching and walking to the door with Gene's hand in mine. I walk down the stairs carefully but quickly and smile at him as we make it down to the bottom before walking to the car and climbing into the driver's side. Looking to the passenger side, I wait for Gene to join me and smile before starting the car.

I watch as she takes the keys and laces her fingers through mine before we start out the door, locking it behind us. We start down the many flights of stairs before finally reaching the parking deck. I let go of her hand and across to the passenger side, setting my beer in the cup holder and pulling the seat belt over myself. I take another sip of my beer, pushing my neon orange hair out of my face as we backed out of the parking spot. "Don't hurt my car." I state as we pull out onto the road.

I smile as he takes the seat beside me and roll my eyes. "Gene, do you seriously think I could hurt your car?" I ask, driving carefully and looking around slightly before stopping at a red light. Luckily, my apartment wasn't too far from his but it still was a waste of gas. I turn into my drive way and sigh, opening the door and seeing Lisa at the door, waiting for me. I had to pay rent a week early like everyone else and this was the one way to get everything situated. "Hey, Lisa. I need to talk to you. Uh, I'm planning on moving out," I say, shrugging and walking over to her once Gene got out as well.

"Yes." I reply, nodding sagely. I look out the window as we drive the few minutes to her apartment, occasionally bringing the can to my lips to take a sip. I open the door after Christa pulls us up the drive way before parking and cutting the car off. I climb out, leaving my beer in the cup holder. I cross the front of the car to walk up to the porch behind her, giving her land lady a bright smile, pushing my hair out of my face. I stuff my hands into the pockets of my jeans, looking around.

I roll my eyes and wait as I drive. Once Lisa hears I'm moving out, she sighs and tells me that I would only have to pay her for the rent this month unlike she did with the others. Guess it was because she knew my mom and was like my aunt but I didn't ask why. I pull Gene inside the house and grab a bag that I could use to hold most of the stuff. Not much would have to go, most of it belonged in the apartment. I scamper around and pick up the small stuff before looking back at Gene. "Want to bring the TV or leave it here?" I asked, looking at the flat screen TV that hung on the wall. That was really the only electronic I owned here. That and my xBox. I packed my games quickly before grabbing my suitcase and packing my clothes, looking back and hoping that I wasn't taking too long.

I follow her into the house and help her pick up small things that I knew were her's, though I still wasn't much help. "Yeah, we can put it in the bedroom if you want." I reply, nodding slightly. "Not sure how to take it down, though." I add, shrugging. I stand awkwardly off to the side, wanting to help but not really knowing what she wanted to take or what to leave. "I think we need a pet." I say randomly, looking over at Christa. "We're allowed to have anything but a bird." I continue, shrugging my shoulders. I didn't want one, anyway. They were way too annoying for me.
