Personality; Calden is a loner, an outcast, and the one whose picked last for everything. He's anorexic, a chain smoker, and a drug addict. He's quiet and keeps to himself, and is regularly beat up by the much bigger jocks and the occasional prep. His sister Leah doesn't care about him and makes little derogatory remarks to him that partially cause his low self esteem and confidence issues. Calden turned to drugs as an escape, though he soon became addicted and is now at their mercy. He also self harms, looking at the act as a sort of purging the bad from himself.
History; Calden and his sister, Leah, used to live in New York before their father died in Iraq and their mother committed suicide a couple months later. His sister resents having to take care of him, even if he'll be able to move out in less than a year. She packed up everything they had to move to Gerede, leaving behind all he's ever known and his few friends and his boyfriend.
