[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width: 505px; -moz-border-radius: 0 185 185 0px;background-color:#09281d;] so we burst into colours ---------------------------------------- colours and carousels, fall head first, like paper planes & play ground games -------- A tattooed hand reached out, brushing the familiar door to Starbucks until he found the door handle and opened it, stepping inside. The large blue dane kept against his side, the smell of coffee flooding his nostrils and making Rex smile. The barista woman greeted him warmly and he smiled towards the sound of her voice, white cane folded and held in his free hand as Dakota led him to his usual table. He set his guitar down, heard the young woman near his side, asking if he would like his usual. "Yes please pretty lady," He teased, smiling again with the laugh that escaped her. Taking a seat, Rex leaned back in his chair and pet Dakota's head gently, listening to see who all might be around this morning. |

Rex reached carefully for his cup again, fingers brushing the table until he touched it and lifted it to his lips. Blind eyes flickered towards the sound of somebody sitting down at the table next to him and he wondered if it was the same nervous voice he had heard order. That always distant gaze was still friendly as he smiled. "Good morning," He drawled happily, reaching to set his coffee down. Dakota growled when the cup was too close to the ege of the table and Rex frowned, placing it a little closer to the center so he wouldn't spill it.

He stayed silent for a moment, then looked around. Was the man really talking to him? Fuck. Gaire had no experience with being social to other people, atleast not any recent kind. He felt his face flush a small bit as he lowered his gaze, his fingers moving up to his pierced brow. He messed with the ball before finally speaking. "...H-Hello..."

Rex chuckled, leaning back again lazily. "I don't think I've heard you around." He smirked at his own words. "But hello, how are you?" The male still seemed uneasy. Was it because he was talkig to him? Was that maybe a bad idea? He supposed it wasn't the first time he would have made someone uncomfortable. He was rather outgoing. And well, not everybody was so sure about having a bubbly conversation with a blind guy now were they?

Gaire felt color rush into his face as he shook his head, he didnt understand that the man was blind, maybe because he hadnt really yet learned the concept, all he really knew anymore was words and the internet. He held the drink close, his hands shaking ever so slightly , the straw very softly clicking agaisnt the rim of the cup. His face flushed darker as he bit his lower lip with one of the fangs, nearly enough to break the flesh. He nodded gently. "I... D-dont.. Leave the...H-House... Much." He tried to steady his words but they shook like a leaf in a tornado. He felt like an idiot, he looked at his phone, looking for the time. an hour or so untill his parents would come and get him. His eyes snapped back up to man as he shook his head, he knew how that question went. You Lie. You lie your ass off. "I'm ok actually, Y-yourself? He spoke the words slowly, in a strange way, the time he didnt stutter his words or his voice didnt shake was when he was lying. Maybe it was because he was far more comfortable with a lie then he was with the truth.

After some silence, Rex smiled sheepishly. "You'll have to yse your words, I can't see," He insisted gently, then grinned. "Doing fantastic. Coffee and uitar. Couldn' ask for a better morning. Would you like to hear?" He couldn't help it, Rex was a people person. He loved to talk and make others laugh, even smile despite not seeing it. It's just who he was. Jus like all the tattoos. He couldn't see them so he told tattoo artists to just add to what there was, make it art for others to see, expressed on his skin.

Rex grinned happily. "Great." He scooted his chair back some and felt around at his side, unlathing the guitar case and pulling his acoustic out before getting situated and strumming the strings to check him tuning. He began a song by Michael Buble, humming before he began to sing softly with a smile on his face. "Good choice Rex!" The barista called happily and he laughed, glancing towards the general area where the male sat. "Any requests?"

Rex raised eyebrows, which was probably rather comical because he couldn't see. "Oh, c'mon, you have to have a favorite band or artist that I can play. This is what I do every morning, there's plenty out there I know. Try me." He smiled bradly, scratching at his tattoo's neck a moment. Dakota had nosed his way over to the guy, licking his arm and sniffing curiously, since Rex was comfortable with his surroundings and didn't currently need much help.

Rex began to play something, then began to sing. "I'm insane, it's your fault, so sly, Your well of lies ran dry, And I cut the cord, free fall, From so high we seem so small'," He grinned. "I know a few. Any specific song?" Hopefully he would know one the male liked. That voice seemed so uncertain, as if he was afraid of people or didn't get out much, or maybe just didn't trust Rex..or was shu, he didn't know. There were plenty possibilities. "And don't worry about Dakota. He wouldn't hurt a fly, promise."
