"It is." He scoffed at her words. "I'm not that fat," He complained in the mock whiny tone, sticking his tongue out at her as she poked him in return. He finally scooted back and got to his feet, wandering to the middle of the stage and lazily plopping back down. Legs crossed and he waited for her, playing with his lip ring absently as he watched with a cocked head.

I shake my head with a huff at his complaint. "I didn't mean you were fat, I meant I'm just not going to crawl over you." I reply, rolling my eyes. I hadn't even thought that Jayson would take it that way, and even though I knew he was kidding, it kind of hurt that he thought I'd say that. I grab my phone and wait for a moment as he scoots out of the way before stand and I slide out before getting to my feet, awkwardly dusting at my butt for fear I'd gotten dust on myself or something from sitting under the stairs. I brush my hair out of my face before walking over before lowering myself to the floor and drawing my knees to my chest once again. "I don't see how this helps any, it's still dark." I murmur to myself, fidgeting with my phone in my hands before finally setting it down beside me before raising my gaze to Jayson's face.

"I know you didn't," He shrugged and glanced up as she sat down, grinning a bit. He got up and turned on the low lights on the stage before scampering back over to her. "There." He insisted softly, sprawling onto his back. He tucked his arms under his head, tilting it to look over a her. "Much better." He laughed. "Really though, you are pretty you know? I dunno why some of the most beautiful girls don't see that."

I shrug my thin shoulders in silent response as he says that he knew I didn't mean to insult him. My gaze follows him as he gets up to run over to the lights before coming back. I shake my head at Jayson as he plops into his back on the floor- didn't he know how dirty the floor was? I stay in my position and roll my blue eyes as he goes on about me being pretty and I rest my chin on my knees. I'd gotten over the suspicion that he just wanted to get on my good side before making a move. Jayson just seemed.. harmless. That was the right word: harmless. Like he wouldn't hurt a fly. The total opposite of Geoff. I physically shake my head to get the thought out and bite my lower lip, looking over at him before I look at my feet. "So." I breathe, trying to think of something to say. It was hard; I wasn't used to talking to anyone but Att and Con, so it was like a total new experience for me. "How're you?" I finally ask, knowing it was a totally lame question. But, at least I was making an attempt, right?

"Good." He giggled a bit. "Better than good right now actually. And I get to street race tonight. So great." He grinned up at her. "You, Miss I'm Gonna Hide In A Corner?" He nudged her with the toe of his shoe gently. He smiled warmly, reaching to running a hand through his hair and hum softly. "You mighta saved the auditorium stage from graffiti." He slid his sharpie towards her with a smile.

I shake my head gently at him- who could be that happy? It was something new to me, someone seeming to be so utterly and totally happy-go-lucky. Even Att could have his down days. But.. I liked the change. It was like a bit of a breath of fresh air. "Sounds fun." I reply softly, nodding. A ghost of a grin crosses my face and I roll my eyes at Jayson. "Good. Was worse, then you showed up and threw a sunshiny ray thing into my rain cloud." I say, light chuckling. This was the most relaxed I'd been around another human being other than Att and Con in.. well, a long time. I didn't exactly know why, but it didn't bother me much. "I'm the police." I say teasingly, reaching for the sharpie. I take it in my hands and twirl it around, thinking of saying something about him stopping me from self harming but deciding against it. "C'mere, you're getting a tattoo." I finally command, waving him over with my hand as I uncap the sharpie.

Jayson grinned. "Gla to make it better, I try," He insisted, face soberin up as he tried to be serious. It didn' last long and he snorted in amusement, watching her. "Mm well I'm screwed then 'cos I just broke three laws in front of you." Smoking pot, graffiti and racing. He laughed, raising an eyebrow when she mentioned a tattoo. Shrugging, he rolled to his stomah and got p on hands and knees, crawling back towards her and sitting down.

I roll my eyes as he replies that he'd tried, brushing some violet hair out of my face. "Eh. I won't put you in jail. You're fairly good company." I say, shrugging my shoulders as a bit of my old humor came out. I never let it show much anymore around anyone but Connor, but Jayson just seemed to draw it out of me. I chuckle as he rolled over before crawling across the floor to sit beside me and I shake my head before boldly taking his arm and resting it on my knee as I tapped the sharpie against my chin as I tried to think of what to draw. Maybe a pony? Definitely a pony. "You're getting Rainbow Dash.. only goth version." I state, starting on the body as I bit my lower lip in concentration.

Jayson watched her take his arm, and squirmed to lay down again, obnoxiously dropping his head into her lap. He laughed lightly as she told him what she planned to draw, but he didn't complain or get upset or whine that it was girly. He just focused on the feeling of the sharpie on his skin and gazed up at her, watching her face with a crooked smile a moment. Hoping not to scare her off, he finally turned his head to peer out into the audience seating. The pot and a sleepless night of research and still hopefully searching for his brother while everyone else was asleep had him exhausted. He didn't really let anyone see how much that still upset him, while they'd finally learned to cope. It's just who he was. He kept that part of himself private. Why be sad in front of others needing to smile? Soon enough his breaths were slow, eyes closed and face peaceful in her lap as he drifted in a light slumber, occasionally trying to blink awake when he felt the marker and then driftinng right back into his snooze.

I freeze for a moment as he lays his head in my lap, but eventually decide to leave it as I start drawing on his arm again. I glance over at Jayson to find him looking at me before he eventually turns his gaze to the stands and I relax a bit. I continue to draw, focusing on trying to get her tail to the right shape. I giggle as a light snore comes out of him and I shake my head, surprised he was sleeping. I'd never fall asleep in the company of someone I'd just met, though maybe I was just paranoid? No. With me, someone would probably draw a mustache on my face and take all my stuff- but I'd never do that to someone, and especially Jayson. I pause to brush my hair out of my face before starting on her mane, and soon have it to my satisfaction. I look at him again and absently fiddle with his hair as I try to figure out how I was going to do that design that was on her rump.

Jayson yawned and stirred atnshe played with his hair. He smiled up at her sleepily, a look of almost innocence on his face. "Sorry, didn't really sleep last night," Hemumbled with a chuckle. And he'd already had a bowl of the green this morning, so of course it had hit him. He shifted carefully, reaching to rub at an eye with his free hand. Maybe he should forget next period after lunch and just sleep it away or somethin. Or smoke more. But he should probably sleep considering the race tonight.

I jump as he moves before opening his eyes to look up at me. "It's fine." I reply softly, shrugging my thin shoulders. I watch him rub at his face for a moment before looking back at my gothic Rainbow Dash that I was working on. I decide to do her design alter and start on her eyes, being careful so as not to make the separate lines bleed together. "Are you gonna leave when lunch ends?" I ask randomly, keeping my blue eyes fixed on his arm. I was surprised to find myself not wanting him to leave. He was the best company I'd had in a long time, other than Connor, of course. Jayson didn't seem to already have some sort of predetermined opinion about me, which was nice. "I'm not. I'm gonna stay in here.. unless I decide to leave before the end." I add, my mouth quirking down into a small frown. I could always go over to Att's- Mom had some guy over this morning and I didn't know if he was still there.

Jayson kept his arm still for Londyn, thinking about what she had asked before shaking his head. "Think imma stay," He mumbled. He was too lazy honestly, and it wasn't like he was completely flunking his classes, thiugh he didn't have the best attendance record in the world that was for damn sure. "I don't wanna go to class," He complained, watching her as she spoke again and offering her a bright smile.

I nod slightly as he replied that he was going to stay, keeping the smile that threatened to cross my face away. I soon finish the the eye and quirk my mouth to the side as I look it over. It wasn't the best Rainbow Dash in the world, but it could be worse. I scratch my nose as I look at Jayson's face as he speaks again and I chuckle lightly, nodding in agreement. "Me too. I don't feel like dealing with people." I say, starting on the small design that was on the ponie's rump. It would look more like a smudge, but better than forgetting it all together. "There." I huff, leaning back and pushing my hair out of my face.

Jayson nodded in agreement, turning his head as she finished to see what she had drawn with his sharpie. He grinned. "Cute," He drawled, laughing. "It'll look great at the race tonight." He yawned and snuggled into her lap again. "So what kinds of things you like to do?" He asked curiously, honestly interested and wanting to talk so he wouldn't fall asleep again.
