I bite my lower lip a bit as she explains a bit, fiddling with my shirt. "I wouldn't hurt you." I reassure her, tightening my grip around Cailana for a hug. I reach for the chocolate bar that she'd put off to the side earlier, braking it into pieces and sticking one in my mouth before offering her the other, hoping to somehow cheer her up- didn't girls love chocolate. "I have homework." I sigh randomly, leaning back and looking up at the ceiling with a soft sigh.

I look over as Jordan hugs me and I wrap my arms around him, hoping he truly meant it. I take the piece of chocolate as he offers it to me and eat it before crawling off so he could get his homework. "Uh, you can leave if you want then. I mean, you'll see me tomorrow, too," I say as I look at him. I didn't want him to leave but I would let him if he wanted to. He did have homework and I did have to grade papers. My head goes to his shoulder and I play with his hand.

Her arms wrap around me before she takes and chocolate and crawls off my lap. I really hated to leave Cailana like this, but I couldn't take another bad grade or zero on an assignment again, and this situation was really uncomfortable. "I really do need to do my homework." I mumble, pushing my hair out of my face as I stand. "See you tomorrow.." I add, though I really wasn't planning on going tomorrow. I start towards the door, twisting the knob before stepping out and starting down the stairs.
