Travis smiled and was fixing to send off a text until Diana lips touched his. He didn't really know what do to. But as she walked away, Travis dumbly ran his finger across his bottom lip. Okay, Diana had to be messing with him. There was no way, after all she'd done, that she seriously liked him. A game, that was all. A game he'd join in, maybe. He was still shocked to think of anything other than the fact Diana kissed him. Oh, boy, now he sounded like an obsessed girl. As Diana was walking back, Travis tried to put on a bored face. He took the cup and drank from it. Thanks. What was that about, hm? He inquired, turned to look at her. Travis quirked his eyebrow and took another drink of mountain dew.

I take a sip of my iced coffee, looking over at him innocently. "What? You didn't want me to?" I ask, raising my eyebrows. I run a hand through my hair, wishing that I'd worn something else. A sweater made it pretty hard to look hot, though I could usually pull anything off. "I mean, at the lake it didn't seem like that.." I continue, trailing off and glancing back at my lap top, biting the inside of my lower lip to make it more believeable. This was going to be fun, though I might not mind kissing Travis again.. but I couldn't let him -or anyone else, actually- know that.

Travis watched watched Diana quizzically, then looked at her laptop. He'd noticed the tale-tale sign of a facebook message earlier. He remembered the beach, very clearly. Especially when she kissed Ray. Ah, that's what felt so weird. Diana was supposed to be dating Ray. Travis looked at her again, shrugged and ran his tongue across the inside of his bottom lip. Oh, I don't know. I just thought you were currently with Ray. He glanced at her laptop and lifted a corner of his mouth subtly. It wasn't like he minded her kissing him, but the last thing he needed was to be the person someone cheated on someone with. All the shit on him right now was plenty enough. He'd succumbed to Eric's social level in the school, which wasn't all that great. Normally Eric only got offered from girls crawling with STD"s. Which, if Travis had any faith in his friend, Eric had some too. Travis looked back up at Diana and cocked his head to the side. At least it was Diana.

I grab my iced coffee and bring the straw to my lips, crossing my legs daintily at the ankles. I raise my eyebrows as Travis eventually speaks again and I roll my eyes before shrugging. "Don't you date that girl at the lake? The ginger?" I reply innocently. I take another slow sip of my drink, giving myself some time to think. "But, yeah. I heard he was cheating on me, so I was gonna end it.." I add, looking down at my lap and turning to sit forward, as if to avoid Travis' gaze. "I mean, what kinda jerk would do that? To me?" I add, pretending to get worked up. I laugh in disgust, shaking my head and reaching up to tuck a strand of hair behind my ear.

Travis shook his head. That girl was anything but a girlfriend, even if she had been a good friend. Then Diana started the rants. He looked across the resturant as if to find help, but it wasnt like that was any luck. Well, what jerk wohld cheat on Diana? If not for the fact that she was a well prize, simply the knowing that she could ruin someones social life. Travis would not try to pull those strings. "I dont know. A stupid person? Egomaniac?" Travus shrugged and drank his mountain dew. It was almost empty within a few seconds. He was a nervous drinker. Which could become bad at parties. Travis drug his mind back to the present and nudged Diana's shoulder. "Well, that means he wasnt worth much then." It was a boys comfort, but for the lack of experience, it was all he had. That and the offer if a drunken night at some club, but that wasnt a good idea at all.

Apparently he didn't date that slut, which boded well for me. Or maybe ill- perhaps Travis didn't want a relationship? Well, I didn't, either. I just wanted to have some fun. I glance over at him as he nearly tilted his cup vertical and I sigh. "You can go get a refill, skip out at the same time. Run." I say, chuckling bitterly. It hadn't ever happened to me, but Travis didn't need to know that, now did he? I frown as he nudges me shoulder and give a noncommittal shrug. "I guess." I mumble, looking down at the table. I take a small sip of my iced coffee before stirring it around with my finger, pretending to be thoughtful. I swing my legs back and forth for a moment before turning my head to look at Travis. "You can leave, I know you probably want to." I say softly, my eyes meeting his.

Travis looked at Diana and settled farther in the seat. "What kind of person would I be if skiped out on you?" He gave a cheeky grin and swished the watery ice in his cup. Yeah, he'd stay as long as she didnt start crying. That was not his scene, no matter how much he cared for tye peraon. No, it wasnt just a masculine thing, Travis just ust didnt do well with emotions. Some people laughed when they were happy, others mad. People cried when they were upset and over joyed. He utterly hated double meanings. "So, how did you find out Ray was cheating?" He asked, biting at his straw.

"A sane one." I reply dubiously, looking down at the table. I pick at my nails though I make sure not to scratch the polish before taking another sip of my iced coffee, brown eyes flicking over to Travis at his question. Shit. I hadn't thought up a story for my claim. "Claire told me that she was walking out from cheer practice one day and say him sucking face with some Freshman." I reply, shaking my head darkly. "Obviously she didn't know who he was with." I add bitterly, holding back a grin from my face. It had a double meaning- not knowing he was taken and not knowing he was taken by one of the most popular girls in school.

Travis, though ruefully, felt sorry for her boyfriend -wait, ex?- He really wasn't sure if she'd split yet or if she planned to soon. Or if she planned too at all. It wouldn't be above her to get him back somehow. Wow, Ray really didn't know what he'd dug himself into. Travis shook his head. That's what happens when you're popular. You find out things you don't want to know. It's what he wanted to say, instead he tried to stay on her good side, for today at least. Shit, sucks for him. What're you gonna do? Just end it or find something clever to do? He looked past her as Bradley walked in. Like always, he ignored his former best friend -brother, kind of. Travis narrowed his eyes, but quickly put his, somewhat fuming now, attention back to Diana. He did really want to hear what fate Ray had in store. Maybe it'd be worse than his and somehow, hopefully, it'd knock him back up to where he used to be.

I bring my iced coffee to my lips to take another sip, brushing a stray strand of dark brown hair behind my ear. I look over at Travis as he speaks and I shrug with a sigh. "I really don't know." I say softly, looking down at the table before glancing up as my companion's body language changed. I have to glance away to hide a smirk as my eyes land on Bradley. He was one of the ones who first believed and passed along what I'd come up with about Travis- though some of it was true. "Bad question for a guy, but what do you think I should do?" I ask, looking over at him as I bit the inside of my lower lip.

Travis 'hmm'ed and tapped his fingers along the table. What should she do? There was a lot of things Travis would to the guy his girlfriend was cheating on him with, if he had one, but those might not be exactly Diana-style. She seemed to be someone to go under the radar and ruin then without anyone truely knowing who it was, but having a good idea. He twisted his straw and shrugged. Maybe you should just make it clean. End it and book it. Or you could just ruin his rep. This last note had a slight tip of venom, but Travis contained his anger. After all, Diana was Diana. And maybe, by some sort of twisted magic, hanging out with her would bring his social standings back up. Who knew, everything was worth a shot.

I keep my eyes on him as he tapped his fingers along the table and soon look back forward, to where Bradley was in line. I run a hand through my hair, looking over as Travis finally spoke. "Maybe I should just end it. I really don't want to deal with it anymore, at all." I reply, turning my stool to face him, deciding that if we were going to have a conversation we might as well face each other. I look down at the front of ym sweater and bring my cup to my lips to take a sip before glancing over as I placed it on the table. (sorry its so short)

Travis watched Diana move towards him, his eyebrow riasing. Now what was she up to? Hopefully nothing. He really couldn't handle another one of her 'lake' things. At least he was in an easy positioin to leave. But that'd be rude. So instead he shrugged and nodded. Lucky Ray, no public humliation for him. He pushed a hand through his dark hair and leanded forward. It wasn't something he wanted to do, not really. His body just made him do it. Stupid desire. But kissing her again wasn't bad at all. Travis sat back, his face light with red high on his cheeks. I, uh.. He looked up, but his eyes caught on Bradley. Great. He knew that look, the one that he had a secret the world would die to know. Well, damn.

I bring my brown gaze back up to his face when he leans forward to press his lips to mine. After the surprise wears off, I kiss Travis back, our lips melding together for a couple more seconds before he breaks it. I hold back a smirk at the blush on his face and follow his eyes to where Bradley was staring at us. I could use this to my advantage. I smile and wave, motioning him over. His eyes widen and he shakes his head, and I frown, shrugging. I could always tell Michelle something- she'd believe pretty much anything. But, maybe I could let word of this reach Ray then go off on him in front of people. Or get Ray and Travis into a fight. That'd be entertaining.
