I nod absently as he spoke before blinking and looking at him at his question. "Oh, uh, nothing." I reply, shaking my head hastily, hoping that my voice ahdn't gone all funky it sometimes did in certain situations. Besides, I couldn't rightly tell Jayson that I'd beent hinking about kissing him, right? No, that'd just make this whole thing alot more awkward than it already was. "What movie do you wanna watch?" I ask, hoping to divert his attention away from my answer.

"Mkay.." jayson said when she insisted it was nothing. He wouldn' pry even though he was curious. She asked what movie he wanted to watch and Jayce shrugged. "I don't care." He nudged her playfully. "You pick. You tcklish?" He grinned.

"Fine, we'll probably end up watching something scary." I reply with a soft chuckle and a shrug. I run a hand through my blue hair, raising my eyebrows as Jayson asked me if I was ticklish. "If you tickle me, I'm not responsible for your injuries." I reply with a serious face, shaking my head a bit before reaching out to tap his nose, a smile crossing my face.

Jayson smiled. "Fine with me." He streched his legs a bit, grinning at her next words. "Ohh really?" He challenged, hugging her tight and beginning to tickle down her sides, sticking his tongue out. "You asked for it when you poked me," He teased

"Not like you had a choice." I reply with a smirk as he stretched out his legs. I let out a squeal as Jayson pulled me close before running his hands down my sides and I try to pull back and eventually he lets me go and I fall backwards, hair falling around my face. I huff, propping myself up on an elbow and blowing my hair out of my face. "Shut up." I growl, though a light giggle makes my words less threatening as I sit up and scoot over to sit beside him, leaning my head on his shoulder.

Jayson chuckled faintly. "No?" He was still grinning as she fell back then straightened up and eventually sat up and scooted over to rest her head on his shoulder. He reached over the gently fix her hair, smiling as he searched her face. "You're gorgeous, you know that right?"

I roll my blue eyes a bit as he reaches out to fiddle with my hair, a smile on Jayson's face. A blush creeps onto my pale cheeks as he speaks and I shrug my shoulders. "Not really." I reply honestly, looking away from his face for a moment. Me, gorgeous? There was no way. Who would love a girl with electric blue hair and scars marring her body, a girl who cried almost every day? No one. No one who had a brain, at least. I bite my lower lip, looking back at him before taking Jayson's hand in mine and tracing my finger over it.

Jayson huffed softly at her reply. "Well you are. Absolutely stunning." He watched her take his hand and trace a finger over it, before he overturned it and laced their fingers together slowly. His thumb brushed gently across her smaller knuckled and he offered her another bright smile.

"Thanks." I mumble, hating the blush that spread across my cheeks. I look away from Jayson for a moment, brushing a stray strand of blue hair out of my face. A grin crosses my face as he laces our fingers together and I run my thumb over his hand, resting my head on his shoulder again, turning to look at him for a moment, our faces close. I believed what he told me, though my conscious told me to be cautious. But, he'd been nothing but kind to me, so, why not take a risk for once?

Jayson searched her face after she turned to look at him again from where she'd looked away. He smiled again, kind and soft and curious. He was curious. He wanted to know what made her tick, where the broken was so he could fix it. He wanted to understand her triggers and what caused her to smile and laugh... Laugh especially.

His gentle smile makes one cross my own face and I reach out to playfully tap his nose with my finger, sticking out my tongue at Jayson. The grin stays on my face as I reach for the soda to take a sip before offering it to him and reaching into the box for another cracker, leaning back against the book shelf. "Have you seen The Conjuring?" I ask randomly, looking over at Jayson with an arched eyebrow.

Jayson chuckled as she poked him, and he wrinkled his mose up, watchin alondyn pick up the soda and take a sip before holding it out and taking another cracker. He took the soda, swallowing a mouthful and setting it aside before shifting his weight. He shook his head. "No I haven't. I've wanted to though."

I watch as he takes the soda from me before nibbling on my cracker, blue eyes running over the titles of the books around us. "Yeah? We should watch that then." I reply absently, reaching up for a thick old book before pulling it down. "Huh, Les Miserables." I mumble softly, turning it over in my hands. I'd actually been looking for this for a while. "Sorry I'm such a nerd." I say playfully, sticking my tongue out at Jayson.

"Sounds great." He smiled, his eyes bright as he watched her pick up a book. A chuckle passed his lips at her words and he shook his head. "Nothing wrong with that," He insisted, wrinkling his nose.

I nod absently before shrugging helplessly. "Can we go now or do we have to hang here until school's over?" I ask with a bored expression as I look over at Jayson. I still couldn't really believe I'd kissed him, but, maybe we could make something out of it? I was afraid ofbeing hurt again, but, he didn't seem like the type to do that.. all he'd ever done was be nice to me.
